Math's Student Love Letter

My Dear Love,
Yesterday, I was passing by your rectangular house in trigonometric lane. There I saw you with your cute circular face, conical nose and spherical eyes, standing in your triangular garden.

Before seeing you, my heart was a null set, but when a vector of magnitude (likeness) from your eyes at a deviation of theta radians made a tangent to my heart, it differentiated. My love for you is a quadratic equation with real roots, which only you can solve by making good binary relation with me. The cosine of my love for you extends to infinity. I promise that I should not resolve you into partial functions but if I do so, you can integrate me by applying the limits from zero to infinity.

You are as essential to me as an element to a set. The geometry of my life revolves around your acute personality. My love, if you do n ot meet me at parabola restaurant on date 10 at sunset, when the sun is making an angle of 160 degrees, my heart would be like a solved polynomial of degree 10. With love from your higher order derivatives of maxima and minima, of an unknown function.

Yours ever loving,

FOR WE WALK BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT

One day a 6 year old girl was sitting in a classroom. The teacher was going to explain evolution to the children. The teacher asked a little boy:

TEACHER: Tommy do you see the tree outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
TEACHER: Tommy, do you see the grass outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
TEACHER: Go outside and look up and see if you can see the sky.
TOMMY: Okay. (He returned a few minutes later) Yes, I saw the sky.
TEACHER: Did you see God?
TOMMY: No.
TEACHER: That's my point. We can't see God because he isn't there. He doesn't exist.

A little girl spoke up and wanted to ask the boy some questions.

The teacher agreed and the little girl asked the boy:

LITTLE GIRL: Tommy, do you see the tree outside?
TOMMY: Yes.
LITTLE GIRL: Tommy do you see the grass outside?
TOMMY: Yessssss (getting tired of the same questions by this time).
LITTLE GIRL: Did you see the sky?
TOMMY: Yessssss
LITTLE GIRL: Tommy, do you see the teacher?
TOMMY: Yes
LITTLE GIRL: Do you see her brain?
TOMMY: No
LITTLE GIRL: Then according to what we were taught today in school, she must not have one!

"FOR WE WALK BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT"

Three WORDS

The following 3 words phrases make a lot of difference....

1.Let me help.
Good friends see a need and then try to fill it. When they see a hurt theydo what they can to heal it. Without being asked, they jump in and help out.

2.I understand you.
People become closer and enjoy each other more when the other person accepts and understands them. Letting your spouse know - in so many little ways - that you understand them, is one of the most powerful tools for healing your relationship. And this can apply to any relationship.

3.I respect you.
Respect is another way of showing love. Respect demonstrates that anotherperson is a true equal. If you talk to your children as if they wereadults you will strengthen the bonds and become closer friends. Thisapplies to all interpersonal relationships.

4.I miss you.
Perhaps more marriages could be saved and strengthened if couples simplyand sincerely said to each other "I miss you." This powerful affirmationtells partners they are wanted, needed, desired and loved. Consider howimportant you would feel, if you received an unexpected phone call fromyour spouse in the middle of your workday, just to say "I miss you."

5.Maybe you're right.
This phrase is very effective in diffusing an argument. The implicationwhen you say "maybe you're right" is the humility of admitting, "maybe I'mwrong". Let's face it. When you have an argument with someone, all younormally do is solidify the other person's point of view. They, or you, will not likely change their position and you run the risk of seriouslydamaging the relationship between you. Saying "maybe you're right" canopen the door to explore the subject more. You may then have theopportunity to express your view in a way that is understandable to theother person.

6.Please forgive me.
Many broken relationships could be restored and healed if people wouldadmit their mistakes and ask for forgiveness. All of us are vulnerable tofaults, foibles and failures. A man should never be ashamed to own up thathe has been in the wrong, which is saying, in other words, that he iswiser today than he was yesterday.

7.I thank you.
Gratitude is an exquisite form of courtesy. People who enjoy thecompanionship of good, close friends are those who don't take dailycourtesies for granted. They are quick to thank their friends for their many expressions of kindness. On the other hand, people whose circle of friends is severely constricted often do not have the attitude of gratitude.

8.Count on me.
A friend is one who walks in when others walk out. Loyalty is an essentialingredient for true friendship. It is the emotional glue that bondspeople. Those that are rich in their relationships tend to be steady andtrue friends. When troubles come, a good friend is there indicating "youcan count on me."

9.I'll be there.
If you have ever had to call a friend in the middle of the night, to take asick child to hospital, or when your car has broken down some miles fromhome, you will know how good it feels to hear the phrase "I'll be there."Being there for another person is the greatest gift we can give. When we are truly present for other people, important things happen to them andus. We are renewed in love and friendship. We are restored emotionallyand spiritually. Being there is at the very core of civility.

10.Go for it.
We are all unique individuals. Don't try to get your friends to conform toyour ideals. Support them in pursuing their interests, no matter how farout they seem to you. God has given everyone dreams, dreams that areunique to that person only. Support and encourage your friends to followtheir dreams. Tell them to "go for it."

11.I love you.
Perhaps the most important three words that you can say. Telling someonethat you truly love them satisfies a person's deepest emotional needs. The need to belong, to feel appreciated and to be wanted. Your spouse, your children, your friends and you, all need to hear those three little words: "I love you." Love is a choice. You can love even when the feeling is gone.

Think twice b4 judging others.

One night there was a woman at the airport who had to wait for several hours before catching her next flight. While she waited she bought a book and a pack of biscuits to spend the time.

She looked for a place to sit and waited. She was deep into her book, when suddenly she realized that there was a young man sitting next to her who was stretching his hand, with no concern whatsoever, and grabbing the pack of cookies lying between them. He started to eat them one by one. Not wanting to make a fuss about it she decided to ignore him.

The woman, slightly bothered, ate the cookies and watched the clock, while the young and shameless thief of biscuits was also finishing them. The woman started to get really angry at this point and thought 'If I wasn't such a good and educated person, would have given this daring man a black eye by now.'

Every time she ate a biscuit, he had one too. The dialogue between their eyes continued and when only one biscuit was left, she wondered what was he going to do. Softly and with a nervous smile, the young man grabbed the last biscuit and broke it in two. He offered one half to the woman while he ate the other half.

Briskly she took the biscuit and thought, 'What an insolent man! How uneducated! He didn't even thank me!' She had never met anybody so fresh and sighed relieved to hear her flight announced. She grabbed her bags and went towards the boarding gate refusing to look back to where that insolent thief was seated.

After boarding the plane and nicely seated, she looked for her book which was nearly finished by now. While looking into her bag she was totally surprised to find her pack of biscuits nearly intact. 'If my biscuits are here', she thought feeling terribly, 'those others were his and he tried to share them with me.' Too late to apologize to the young man, she realized with pain, that it was she who had been insolent, uneducated and a thief, and not him.

How many times in our lives, had we known with certainty that something happened in a certain way, only to discover later that it wasn't true?

How many times has our lack of trust within us made us judge other people unfairly with our conceited ideas, often far away from reality.

THAT IS WHY WE HAVE TO THINK TWICE BEFORE WE JUDGE OTHERS

Smart PM

Bush, Manmohan, Aishwarya rai and Sonia are traveling in a train.
The train goes through a tunnel and it gets completely dark. Suddenly there is a kissing sound and then a slap!
The train comes out of the tunnel. The women and Manmohan are sitting there looking perplexed.
Bush is bent over holding his face, which is red from an apparent slap. All of them remain diplomatic and nobody says anything.

Sonia is thinking:
These Americans are all crazy after Aishwarya. Bush must have tried to kiss her in the tunnel. Very proper that she slapped him.

Aishwarya is thinking:
Bush must have tried to kiss me but kissed Sonia instead and got slapped.

Bush is thinking:
Damn it. Manmohan must have tried to kiss Aishwarya. She might have thought it was me and slapped me.

Manmohan is thinking:
If this train goes through another tunnel I will make another kissing sound and slap Bush again.

Eye Care

Step I:
After every 20 minutes of looking into the computer screen, turn your head and try to look at any object placed at least 20 feet away. This changes the focal length of your eyes, a must-do for the tired eyes.
Step II:
Try and blink your eyes for 20 times in succession, to moisten them.
Step III:
Time permitting of course, one should walk 20 paces after every 20 minutes of sitting in one particular posture. Helps blood circulation for the entire body. Circulate among your friends if you care for them and their eyes. They say that your eyes r mirror of your soul, so do take care of them, they are priceless................

Ant & Grasshopper

The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long,
building his house and laying up supplies forthe winter.

The grasshopper thinks he's a fool and laughs
and dances and plays the summer away.

Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed.
The grasshopper has no food or shelter so he dies out in the cold.

MODERN VERSION..................

The ant works hard in the withering heat all summerlong,
building his house and laying up supplies forthe winter.

The grasshopper thinks he's a fool and laughs and
dances and plays the summer away.Come winter,
the shivering grasshopper calls a press conference and
demands to know why the ant should be allowed to
be warm and well fed while others are cold and starving.

BBC, CNN, NDTV show up to provide pictures of the shivering
grasshopper next to a video of the ant in his
comfortable home with a table filled with food.

The World is stunned by the sharp contrast.
How can this be that this poor grasshopper is allowed tosuffer so?

Arundhati Roy stages a demonstration in front of the ant's house.

Amnesty International and Koffi Annan criticizes the Government for not upholding the fundamental rights ofthe grasshopper.

The Internet is flooded with online petitions seeking support to the grasshopper.

Opposition MP's stage awalkout.Left parties call for "Bharat Bandh" in West Bengaland Keralademanding a Judicial Enquiry.

Finally, the Judicial Committee drafts the Preventionof TerrorismAgainst Grasshoppers Act [POTAGA]", with effect fromthe beginning of the winter.
The ant is fined for failing to comply with POTAGA and, having nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the government and handedover to the grasshopper in a ceremony covered byBBC,CNN and NDTV.

Arundhati Roy calls it "a triumph of justice".

Employee Resignation

Poetic Resignation

The name is good, the brand is big
But the work I do is that of a pig
The work or the brand; what is my way?
I don't know if I should stay.

To work, they have set their own way
Nobody will care to hear what I say
My will be NULL, they wont change their way
I don't know if I should stay.

The project is in a critical stage
But to do good work, this is the age
This dilemma is killing me day by day
I don't know if I should stay.

The money is good, the place is great
But the development is at a very small rate
Should I go for the work, or wait for pay
I don't know if I should stay!

The managers don't know what they talk
The team doesn't know where they walk
That's a bad situation, what say?
I don't know if I should stay.

I can go to any other place
But what if I get the same disgrace
I can't keep switching day by day
I don't know if I should stay.

The -ves are more, the +ves are less
Then why have this unnecessary mess
No more will I walk their way,
It's all done, I won't stay.

Thanks & Regards
Employee

Manager Response

Reply: What I want to say? (Manager)

The decision is good or decision is bad
Only God knows still I am glad
Keep moving in life that is what I can say

If you feel right go in the same way
May god give you the work, the challenge you want
Anyway there is always a second chance
Chances are there, grab them snatch them
That is what I can say

Keep on jumping companies to get more and more and more....
That will keep you always a fore (Even to me)
From my experience I can tell you
Being in software development is like taking hell out of you
You are frustrated since you have no quality work
And you were frustrated because you had quantity work

It's always like that previous job was better than the current one
And expects the new job will be much better than this one
But what you get is a frustration level up to sun
Than you will again send the resignation like this one
This is all what I want to say

Have you completed all the formalities?
Filled the form and got it signed from department humanities (HR)
Once done you can take all your cash
But don't refer others as they will follow you're a*s.
At last I appreciate your contribution to the company
Even though there was not any....

You will keep a copy of this with you for FYI
Don't feel shy
As I also got it some time back from my old manger say Hi....
That is all what I want to say.

Thanks & Regards
Manager
